About me
Kia ora! I am an artist based in Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. I am also a coach, with a background in corporate law and leadership in the non-profit and public sectors.
I started painting in my early 30s after a period of burn out and several miscarriages. It was nothing short of a creative revolution. Art making quickly became an integral part of my life and I now spend a large chunk of my time in the studio exploring my imagination.
I started exhibiting in 2020 and have had several solo shows across New Zealand, including most recently Nina (December 2021), Nina XIII - XVII (July 2022) and Nina XVIII - XXIV (December 2022) at {Suite} Gallery.
I am represented by {Suite} Gallery in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand.
I am also built for deep conversation and love connecting with people around the things that matter most to them. I work with people in a coaching and leadership capacity, both through my private coaching practice and in a part-time leadership role at the New Zealand Treasury.
You can find out more about my coaching practice here or contact me directly below.
I have a BA in Anthropology and Religion and an LLB (First Class Hons) from Victoria University of Wellington, and an LLM in Environmental Law (with distinction) from New York University, where I studied as a Fulbright Scholar.
I spent a decade practising law, first at a small public law firm and then at a large corporate firm, working in litigation, international law and regulatory reform. Since then I have held thought- and people-leadership roles in the public sector.
I have worked with non-profit organisations in Aotearoa and overseas, including as a board member and Chair of a national mental health service provider.
